Our House II
4 Barbara Street
Our infant/toddler room provides a caring, loving environment for our earliest learners. We focus on free exploration for these children to help them learn through hands-on experiences. All of our toys are at the child’s eye level, so they can easily access their desired activity. The children will sing songs, listen to stories and prepare to enter the preschool/pre-k room. We also spend as much time outdoors as possible with the children!
In our preschool/pre-k room, the children have a wide array of activities to choose from: dramatic play, blocks/trains and all of the accessory materials, a quiet reading area, and a messy/art area. The morning begins with circle time at our carpet. We sing our introductory songs, do the calendar and weather, review letters/numbers/shapes and discuss our theme of the week. After circle time, the children rotate around the room to our educational centers which usually consists of language, science, math, sensory, fine motor and arts & crafts. The rest of the morning is spent playing outdoors!
